S’mores Moonshine Recipe

Toasted marshmallow, melted chocolate, and graham cracker goodness — now imagine all of that in a boozy, drinkable form.

This S’mores Moonshine is a decadent, creamy dessert shine that brings campfire nostalgia straight to your glass.

It’s cozy, rich, and perfect for gifting, sipping by the fire, or turning into the star of your dessert cocktail menu.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate syrup (or melted milk chocolate)
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon marshmallow extract (or use ½ cup marshmallow fluff)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup crushed graham crackers (optional, for rim or infusion)
  • 2 cups chocolate or vanilla vodka
  • 1 to 1½ cups Everclear (adjust strength to taste)

Optional Garnish: Mini marshmallows, torch-scorched for effect, and a graham cracker crumb rim.

Equipment

  • Blender or electric hand mixer
  • Fine mesh strainer (recommended)
  • Mason jars or bottles
  • Shaker jar or funnel for pouring

Instructions

Step 1: Build the Chocolate Base

In a blender or mixing bowl, combine the chocolate syrup, sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, and heavy cream.

Blend until smooth and fully combined.

Step 2: Add the Marshmallow and Vanilla

Add marshmallow extract or fluff, and the vanilla extract.

Blend again until the texture is silky.

Step 3: Add the Booze

Pour in the chocolate/vanilla vodka and Everclear.
Stir or blend until thoroughly mixed. Taste and adjust the proof if needed.

Note: Use more vodka and less Everclear for a sweeter, dessert-forward flavor. Use more Everclear for extra strength.

Step 4: Strain and Bottle

Strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove any thick bits or chocolate solids.
Pour into clean mason jars or bottles and seal tightly.

Storing and Serving

  • Refrigeration: Store in the fridge and consume within 2–3 weeks (due to dairy).
  • Shake Before Serving: Separation is normal — shake well before each pour.
  • Serving Ideas:
    • Serve chilled in small dessert glasses
    • Rim glasses with graham cracker crumbs
    • Top with whipped cream and toast a marshmallow for garnish
    • Serve warm in mugs (gently heated — do not boil)

Final Thoughts

S’mores Moonshine is pure nostalgia in a jar: chocolatey, creamy, and kissed with toasted marshmallow flavor.

Whether you’re sipping it fireside, serving it at a holiday party, or bottling it up as a gift, it’s a surefire hit for dessert lovers and moonshine fans alike.

Cheers!
