Cookie Dough Moonshine Recipe

If you’ve ever snuck a spoonful of cookie dough straight from the bowl (who hasn’t?), this one’s for you.

Cookie Dough Moonshine is creamy, sweet, and packed with vanilla, brown sugar, and chocolate chip flavor — basically liquid cookie dough with a kick.

It’s a dessert drink that’s fun, giftable, and way too easy to sip.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract (optional, for authentic dough flavor)
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 cups vanilla vodka
  • 1 to 1½ cups Everclear (adjust to taste)

Optional: Add 1 tablespoon flour (to mimic the “raw dough” flavor) — toasted in a pan to make it safe to eat, of course.

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Whisk or hand mixer
  • Blender (optional for ultra-smooth finish)
  • Fine mesh strainer
  • Mason jars or glass bottles

Instructions

In a saucepan over low heat, combine the brown sugar, whole milk, and sweetened condensed milk.

Whisk gently until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is warm — do not boil.

Optional: Toast 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour in a dry pan and add it here if you want that raw dough depth.

Step 2: Add Flavor

Remove from heat. Stir in the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and almond extract.

Let the mixture cool slightly.

Step 3: Blend in Chocolate Chips

Pour the cooled mixture into a blender. Add the mini chocolate chips and pulse just a few times — enough to slightly break them up but not fully purée them.

Note: If you want zero texture, skip the chips or strain after blending.

Step 4: Add the Alcohol

Once cool, add the vanilla vodka and Everclear. Stir or blend again until smooth.

Step 5: Bottle and Chill

Strain through a fine mesh strainer (if needed), and pour into clean mason jars or bottles.
Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 12 hours before serving.

Storing and Serving

  • Refrigeration: Store in the fridge. Best consumed within 2 weeks.
  • Shake Before Serving: Always shake well before pouring — especially if chocolate chips were used.
  • Serving Ideas:
    • Serve chilled in shot glasses
    • Top with whipped cream and mini chips
    • Blend with ice cream for a boozy cookie dough milkshake
