- 1 cup vodka (optional for smoothing the flavor)
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- Optional: extra blueberries and lemon slices for garnish
Tip: Fresh blueberries give the best flavor and color, but frozen berries work perfectly if that’s what you have.

Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Blueberries
In a saucepan, combine the blueberries, water, lemon zest, and lemon juice.

Simmer for about 10 minutes until the blueberries burst and release their juices.
Step 2: Add the Simple Syrup
