Have you heard the news? AB-InBev bought L.A.'s Golden Road Brewing.
As expected, some GRB customers are OK with, and even happy about the deal.
From the GRB Facebook page:
And even more people (or just a vocal minority) are pissssssed:
This is the 5th brewery that AB has purchased. The others being Goose Island, BluePoint, Elysian, and 10 Barrel. And it's not just AB writing checks. In 2013, Belgium’s Duvel Moortgat bought Boulevard Brewing in Kansas City, MO. GRB certainly won't be the last.
So I ask you…
What do YOU feel about this trend? Cast your vote!
Now I want to hear what Homebrew Academy readers think of all this. Cast your vote in the poll below.
Are you OK with it? Against it? Tell us! Some of these answers can overlap, so you can select more than one if you wish.
I won't tell you how I feel just yet because I want don't to bias the poll.
Now, this is a HEATED discussion so if you feel the need to vent, you can do so in the comments.
Excited to hear your thoughts!
