I haven't mentioned The Homebrew Academy in a while and we have a bunch of new BillyBrew readers so I thought it was a good time to tell everyone what's been going on with this project. The Academy is something I launched late last year as an online training program that teaches people how to homebrew.
Bottom line – we've trained a bunch of new brewers. I posted a couple pictures of our members below with their diplomas. That's Corey on the left, and to the right is Gerard with his daughter/brewing assistant Grace who is currently in the running for the most awesome little girl in the world award (which she'll win).
Guest bloggers welcome
Our brewing blog has been quiet as of late because we were having work done on the site, but starting next week we're going to get it rolling again and are welcoming guest posts.
We have a kick-ass team already and would love to add new voices. I know starting a blog can be a PITA, so if you want to occasionally post about homebrewing but don't want to start a new site then guest posting is perfect for you.
That's it for now. Thanks to all of my readers for being so supportive of this endeavor. Starting a business is pretty scary, but I've learned that if you just help people achieve their goals and genuinely care about them, then it is hard to fail.
