Now, as the president of Plainfield Ale and Lager Enthusiasts (PALE), he’s become a cornerstone of the local homebrewing community in the western suburbs of Chicago.

Over the years, Steve has honed his brewing skills using a simplistic yet effective BIAB (Brew In A Bag) system right in his garage. His brewing adventures have not only enriched his understanding but also contributed to the local brewing community.

His tenure as the president of PALE is marked by numerous successful community events, educational sessions, and brewing competitions that have fostered a culture of shared learning and camaraderie among local brewing enthusiasts.
